CFile is pleased to have the opportunity to help a fellow non-profit, the Azuero Earth Project, by offering an edition of 6 plates by renowned contemporary artists Teresita Fernández, April Gornik, Mary Heilmann, Maya Lin, Richard Prince and Ed Ruscha at the CFile Shop. Originally conceived by Azuero Earth Project, sales from these plates now support both CFile and Azuero Earth Project. This group of internationally acclaimed, contemporary artists have each contributed an image to be reproduced on a functional dinner plate. The artists represent a diverse range of styles and genres; from painting and photography to sculpture and environmental art, and they focused on images inspired by the natural world to reflect Azuero’s mission. Work by these artists at this price point is very rare. We’ve included some images of other work by the artists in addition to their plates below.
The set is a limited edition of 500, made by Lenox China of the highest quality bone china and consists of six 11” dinner plates.
The mission of the Azuero Earth Project is to preserve the earth’s ecosystems, protect biodiversity and promote healthy communities by helping people to make informed decisions, take sustainable actions and share knowledge.
