Carol Sinclair, a sculptor who works out of Hildersham in Cambridgeshire, UK, lives near a river. The natural world is a frequent inspiration for her sculptures, which recall the effect of natural forces on objects such as wood and stone. As such, her work often takes on a softer, eroded look. “It’s about stillness, really,” Carol Sinclair says of her pieces. “And observing things.”
This is a short video for her piece, “Fleeting Thoughts,” a porcelain composition in thin sheets scored by a series of tiny holes.
