It’s Friday and time to check out our weekly Video segment. Today, we have a music video for a called “Shame” by Yacht, a song about trendy (read: highly curated, even commodified) wellness lifestyles. The pop duo offers us a dose ‘cool’ social commentary through an honest straightforward narrative which begs a reflexive pause.

I’m fighting realness!
The commerce of it, I mean
Fighting authenticity
With what’s left of feeling!

What interests us though is that the video also features the entire process (minus the glazing) of pot making from throwing to pulling out of the kiln. (Also, witness an amazing vessel transformation, from pot to bowl!)
