We periodically highlight the ceramics journalism of Ben Carter, otherwise known as the Red Clay Rambler. Ben recently hosted a live podcast from Harvard Ceramics in Alston, MA with guests Ethan Lasser and Ezra Shales.
The discussion, according to Carter, focuses on the need for touch-friendly learning in museums, the role of craft in Boston’s history and the ways in which museums create meaning through the presentation of objects. The audio of the podcast is available here, but if you have iTunes, you should follow his podcast and show Ben some support.
