Funk art kingpin Robert Arneson (1930 – 1992) has some sculptural work for auction through Bonhams and Wright. Three of the works are scheduled for the block at 1 p.m. March 31 at the Bonhams auction house’s Los Angeles location. A fourth piece is up for auction on March 26th through Wright.
As expected, a couple of these works could set the buyer back tens of thousands of dollars. However, there is one piece within the set for the Arneson collector on a budget.

I am surprised that the pieces are so reasonable for someone of his stature. Perhaps he has not risen out of the proverbial mud!
