When Wayne Higby and I discussed SkyWell Falls, I must confess that I had difficulty grasping the complexity of this project, forty feet tall with complex printing on the glazed tiles, each different via computer. Indeed, I still do. His previous architectural installations have been produced in a handmade craft environment. And when we think of his object art we encounter the landscape bowls that give no hint of the direction he has now taken This is different and is quite honestly one of the most impressive ceramics and architecture ventures I have encountered. But the flipbook tells you more, browse and you will be amazed.
