@annemossman
Whitney: I love the strata in this soon-to-be nerikomi cylinder by ceramist Anne Mossman.
Marie Claire: Terrestrial ceamics. Reminder that clay comes from the land.
@jamiebatesslone
@geltron3000
Whitney: Bleep. Blorp. Blorg. This work is downright performance art created by an “analog 3D printer” – the artist himself as the robot creator with blue hands and cylindrical silver arms. I think this is hilarious. You can see the original post with video here.
@francesprieststudio
@lorrainerobsonceramics
Whitney: I love the matte desert rose color and the sleek crisp lines of these black clay works about to head into the kiln.
@meredithhos + @alexwatsonpottery
@eniwamura
Whitney: These works just make me feel downright happy as they gleefully await the kiln.
Marie Claire: Wow! Do we wear them on our heads?
@anniewoodford
Whitney: Yum, the texture on this porcelain is to die for. I love the dynamic texture as it draws my eyes all over the surface.
@shelseadodd
@hollomoncookceramics
Marie Claire: Architectural, fleshy, and maybe functional??
Whitney: I love these. Soft and grounded.
@handwerklab
Marie Claire: These are pinched pots by @handwerklab. They all fit together like puzzle pieces. Reminiscent of kidneys, and umm… peanuts!
Whitney: Pea pods! Arranging these together must be so gratifying.
@madebymanos
Marie Claire: I love the scale of this little moon, the smooth matte surface, and how it fits in the hand.
Whitney: So smooth.
