The Willow pattern is like the Wilhelm Scream of fine china. One could probably come up with a parlor game to see who can find the strangest manifestation of it.
Here’s our entry: Dr. Martens makes hand-painted shoes and boots that bear the distinctive pattern. We like that the pattern and the style of boot are at odds with each other; fine china and the punk rock history of Doc Martens don’t seem to mix.
You won’t need to treat these boots like china, their distressed top coat has been painted onto suede and designed to wear and crack over time, making each one as individual as you. A blue welt and blue sole make these truly unique.
