Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts is pleased to host Drawn-In, a one-night show of works on paper by a group of celebrated national and international artists. The event will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the Cavin-Morris Gallery, 210 11th Avenue, New York, New York.
One hundred tickets will be sold to this event and all ticket holders will receive a work of art to take home. Works on paper have been donated by 100 celebrated artists including Betty Woodman, Bill Daley, Richard Shaw, Glenn Adamson, Jim Melchert, Ann Agee, Elizabeth Levine, Arthur Gonzalez, Matt Nolen, Paula Winokur and many others. Drawings can be viewed on the Watershed website.
Tickets are $200 per person. Ticket holders may choose to bring a guest for an additional $50. However, the guest will not receive an additional piece of work. Proceeds from the event support Watershed’s artist residency programs. Event sponsors include DaVinci Artist Supply and Ferrin Contemporary.
In conjunction with Drawn In, Watershed is holding a raffle featuring a suite of woodcuts by Peter Gourfain and two giclée prints by Ken Price. Three winners will be chosen; two winners will each receive a piece by Price (valued at $1800 each) and the third winner will receive the suite of Gourfain prints (valued at $1800 total).
This is a rare opportunity to collect these valuable pieces! Raffle winners will be chosen during the Drawn In event on May 11, although you do not need to be present to win. Raffle ticket prices: $25 each, $50 for 3 or $100 for 7. Tickets may be purchased on-line at: http://watershedceramics.org/drawn-in-raffle/
