The Voltasol flowerpot, designed by Studio BAG for livingthings has a conical bottom, which allows the flower within the pot to maximize the amount of light it receives during the day.
The pots are handmade using red clay from La Bisbal d’Emporda. The base “avoids the static nature of conventional pots, thereby creating a slight movement that can either be generated spontaneously or else be induced at will,” livingthings states. The studio states that the design is inspired by the movement of sunflowers and springtime colors.
