This simple side table by London-based design group Noon Studio fits together with just four parts, without requiring the owner to use anything messy and inelegant like a screwdriver. The white ceramic table top comes with both natural and black oak wood pieces, which use a cantilevering tripod system for support.
Noon Studio was created by designers Gautier Pelegrin and Vincent Taïani, who studied industrial conception processes in the south of France from 1999 to 2001. Their biography states that they try to articulate a design philosophy which links object, person and space. They focus on using “honest materials” and manufacturing only what is needed to reach a goal of simplicity in execution.

great design…are they showing at ICFF in May?

Marlys,
I checked but didn’t see anything. I didn’t find an exhibitors list on the ICFF site when I looked.
