The Spotless is a side table with several terracotta coasters set into the tabletop. Normal coasters can do harm but the Spotless solves this problem, offering a smart looking table and a safe place for your drinking glasses. The rounds of ceramic can easily be removed from the tabletop by putting your finger in the opening. This table feels real, it’s a warm object given the combination of lightly finished wood and earthy coasters.
Dutch designer Jenna Postma is driven by narrative, stories that proceed from experiences, memories, imagination, and feelings. For her it’s an imperative to “feel materials… I use a lot of small scale models before making the definite product, searching for the best solutions during the process.” She graduated from the Art Academy Minerva in 2010.
