The great thing about cats is that they comprise roughly 80 percent of the Internet and they’ll never know it. They’re simple creatures; content to merely eat, sleep, claw your furniture and vomit in hard-to-clean locations.
GingerELA, who became an artist and designer after a trip to Burning Man, came out with a line of gravyboats that harnesses the raw barfing power of our feline friends. Her Puking Kitty Saucy Boat was funded on Kickstarter a little more than two years ago. This is an eternity in Internet years, but (and call me juvenile, I don’t care) I’m always ready to laugh at cats being gross. Have you seen the video montage of cats vomiting to techno music? I shouldn’t link to it here, but trust me, it’s sublime.
It’s here where I’d usually explain the finer points of the product’s design, but I’m confident that the video speaks for itself. I’m a little disappointed that I can’t find a way to purchase one on Ginger’s web site. My wife has a birthday coming up.
