Moscow designer Constantin Bolimond created a fun porcelain desktop lamp that draws its inspiration from the Apollo Moon landing.
The Armstrong Light Trap presents a Moon-shaped orb, the craters of which are stopped with corks. The intensity of the LED-powered light depends on how many of these one removes. On top of that its box is printed with bite-sized facts about the physics of light. This could equally be a stylish addition for your desk or a fun present for a science-minded child.
