The staff of Cfile is proud to announce that we’ve been named the top website for contemporary ceramics and contemporary ceramic art on the Internet. The selection was made by Feedspot, who judged Cfile along with 39 other ceramics blogs on criteria including Google search ranking, influence on Facebook, post consistency and the opinion of Feedspot’s editorial team.
Among the other selections were Contemporary Ceramics out of London and Musing About Mud (good name!) out of Saskatchewan, Canada. You can see the rest of the list here.
Thanks to you, our readers, for all the support you’ve given us since our launch a little more than three years ago. We have many more things coming down the pipe for you in the future. Keep your eyes peeled!

Congratulations on the launch of the cfile site. But don’t you think this headline is misleading? The award was from Feedspot. And it is grading site visitations to blog sites based on site analytics. If you are working to establish cfile as a leading site for contemporary art, then I don’t think you need to make a big deal about a Feedspot listing. Some of the leading titles in the field aren’t even listed. Strange, and a little out of character for cfile, IMO.
