There’s something hypnotic about listening to ceramists talk about their art form while watching them work in the studio. The video we have for you today comes from R&A Collaborations. They spoke with Ashraf Hanna, who discussed his practice through the lens of form and material. He said his love of forms began in art school.
“I learned to look at forms as objects of contemplation. That appreciation of form stayed with me and I never imagined back then that I would be making pots.”
Please enjoy this video and the pictures we’ve included of Ashraf’s mesmerizing shapes.
