Bangkok Project Company completed a building for the Kantana Institute in 2011. The institute is part of Kantana Edutainment, a film and animation school. It’s located in the Nakhon Pathom Province in Thailand. The designers told ArchDaily that the goal was to make the building fit in with its natural surroundings. A forest was put into the space to be used as a meditation area for the students.
The structures are made of stone and brick (much maligned on CFile, we know), but its pointed out that brick is a common material in and is important to Thai society, ArchDaily states. The reviewer said the brick does not give a sense of density, but rather appears homogenous with the sun.

It’s not how high temperature your fire, but what you do with it that matters….
A beautiful and appropriate use of brick.
