Dear Cfile Friends,
2020 has brought seismic changes; a global pandemic and #BlackLivesMatter’s ongoing essential protests for equality and justice.
Cfile has always been an arena for diversity, featuring artists of all countries, colors, creeds and beliefs––an inclusive ceramic art journal, accessible to all and always free. We can, and will, do more.
Being sensitive to the times we canceled our spring appeal and benefit auction gala that would have brought in more than 60% of our annual budget
Now, like many other art non-profits, we are cautiously reaching out even though the pandemic is still with us. We have cut our budget to the bone and our small staff remains committed to the Cfile audience providing essential information on new Ceramic Art.
Cfile’s content is even more necessary than before. Emerging artists, educators and students are the core readership of Cfile. We have seen a massive increase in online readership of our thousands of articles, used globally in virtual classes.
Cfile does not receive Corporate, Government or Grant money.
You keep Cfile alive; our community of artists, educators, curators, gallerists, collectors and friends who understand our journal’s value.
Pressing the donate button below, giving a tax-deductible contribution, large or small, will keep ceramic arts woke and ready for future challenges. If you prefer to send a check, our address is: Cfile Foundation, 223 N. Guadalupe #274, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
We hope for your continued support, there is so much more to come, reviews, profiles, digests, opinion and podcasts!
With sincere gratitude for past support,
Mark Del Vecchio
