9-inch porcelain plate by Barnaby Barford
Edition of 25
The central figure on this plate, Katie, is one of a handful of Page 3 girls from The Sun newspaper. The Sun has controversially published a topless girl everyday on page 3 of it’s daily newspaper since 1970. It has been criticized for objectifying and demeaning women. There have been countless calls for the editors to voluntarily drop the feature and also calls for legislation to ban it. It has, however, been credited with increasing the newspaper’s circulation and establishing it as the most popular daily newspaper in the country.

Peter Voulkos Plaque by Matthew Causey
This plaque is part of a series of portraits of famous potter’s that were produced specifically for CFile. The line work on these pieces is classic Causey, energetic, loose, comical and yet cutting and precise. These portraits get right at the idiosyncrasies of the legendary figures they depict. In the Causey’s words: “Those folks looked as unique as the work they made!” Each plaque is hand formed. There are only ten of each plaque, so hurry!
