Ed Ward and Carl Clerkin are the duo behind the British design brand All Lovely Stuff and this undeniably handsome birdhouse. They specialize in functional wooden products that are simple and clever, in a why-didn’t-I-think-of-that way. Their Bird sNEST Box is no exception. The birdhouse is a ceramic flowerpot mounted sideways; the mouth of the pot is closed with a disc of Douglas fir plywood, which has a hole in it for the birds to get in and out. A wing-nut underneath the hole serves as a perch.
