It is NOT all in the numbers. CFile’s emphasis is on high standards for our content; we are more concerned with how long a visitor spends on our site and who that visitor is than hordes stampeding through in search of a quick visual fix. But the catch-22 is that websites live and die by their metrics. So we do need solid numbers to be viable and we got them in our opening week.
Our CFile Facebook Page went crazy with 150,000 people seeing our posts over the opening weekend. The site itself did 5,000 visitors (more or less) in the opening weekend and 10,751 site contacts. For a start-up, these numbers are amazing and have been solid ever since. We have high expectations, with our goal of 7,500 visitors daily in six months time well within our grasp. So subscribe if you have not yet done so, and if you enjoy what CFile offers encourage a friend to sign up as well. It’s informative. It’s global. It’s multi-disciplinary. It’s now. It’s non-profit…and it’s free.
