CFile Shop | Plates by Anna Colluori Holcombe

This exceptional plate edition is the recent work of Anna Colluori Holcombe, Professor of Ceramics and Research Professor at the University of Florida, Gainesville. Extensively travelled, Collouri Holcombe loves to combine images, in particular a Jali window found in Middle Eastern Architecture, botanical illustrations as well as images from Gray’s Anatomy. Using laser, digital and commercial decals, these immensely unique images are a welcome addition to the CFile Shop and are now available here.

Best known for her activities with NCECA  (National Council on Education of the Ceramic Arts), in 1997 she became a fellow of that organization. She is an elected member of the International Academy of Ceramics and has recently spent the fall of 2013 at Anadolu University in Turkey on a Fulbright Scholarship. This limited-edition plate was made specifically for CFile and represents the many hats this remarkable artist has worn over the past 3 decades!
