The above video, a promotional work for the Gardiner Museum, interviews BC sculptor Kathy Venter and follows her through a day at her studio.
She talks about her Summer 2013 show at the Gardiner, Life, which included six installations and 30 sculptures as well as architecture-influenced work. The exhibit was shown in the then-new space for contemporary ceramics at the museum. In her interview, Venter states that she thinks of her work as a continuum.
“The ideas in one work will flow into the next,” she states. “…All my work is one process that will probably never reach completion.”
