Minsoo Lee is a South Korean artist currently represented by Seoul’s Gallery LVS, which exhibits the work of contemporary Korean artists about to “move on to the world stage.”
His work, characterized by nested blue and white porcelain objects which have cuts within the rim, is currently available for sale on his Artsy page. A description of Lee’s work there states that the artist falls in a camp which nods to a ceramic lineage while pursuing a new vision, modernizing traditional practices. Much of the work pictured here is from Lee’s “+, — ” series, so called due to the missing sections cut from the forms.
